In recent times, community members have advocated for a speed reduction to 40km/h along the Southwest Highway. In response, the Shire approached Main Roads WA. Their feedback indicated that a speed reduction is possible but must be applied consistently across the entire townsite. The Shire seeks community input on this proposal to ensure it reflects local needs.
