Notice of Public Advertisement of Planning Proposal

Council has received an application for a “Use Not Listed” (Rural Tourism) at Lot 133 (No. 55) Government Road, Cookernup. In accordance with the provisions of District Planning Scheme No. 1, you are invited to make comment on the proposal. Any comments you may wish to make should be written on the attached Submission Form and lodged with the Chief Executive Officer by 4.00 p.m. on 29 September, 2021.

The proposal may be viewed from the links on this page, and the following provides a brief summary:

  • “Rural Tourism” consisting of a wayside stall (fresh produce and coffee), picnic grounds/ nature play, guided farm tours and seasonal fruit picking.
  • Sessions are by booking, and for a maximum of 20 persons at any given time.
