Council has received an Application for Development Approval – Use Not Listed (Tourist Development) at the above address. A Summary of the proposal is provided below:


  • The Application proposes to establish 4 short stay accommodation units, a communal activity room, swimming pool and private tours of the farm for people staying at the property.


  • The proposed units will be located within the southeast corner of the property, setback approximately 100m from Norah Brook Road.


  • The Applicants are proposing to establish a sustainable development by utilizing recycled building materials, bio septic tanks and solar panels.


A copy of the proposed Development Application is available for viewing at the Shire’s Australind Office (7 Mulgara Street, Australind) and Harvey Office (102 Uduc Road, Harvey) and is available to download from the Shire’s website (www.harvey.wa.gov.au) under “Have Your Say”.


Any comments on the proposed Development Application – Use Not Listed (Tourist Development) must be made in writing and is to include the Development Application name, the property affected and details of the submission and submitted to the undersigned by no later than 4.00pm, Tuesday, 18th April 2023.
