Dog Park
Great for Harvey people & 4 legged friends to have an outlet to exercise.
The Shire needs to put in place basic rules for those using the park to prevent unwanted 'accidents' amongst the dogs visiting. One rule which I have noted with other dog enclosures is the 'no toys/balls'. Too often without consideration for other dog users visiting, toys/balls can be the cause of dog fights.
For one I would more than likely not use as my dogs are older, so wouldn't use the park.
I know many would not like the suggestion, but private parks whereby the user pays for a specifed time allotment, to allow their dogs free time off lead in an enclosure works better for many. Safe and secure without the worries of others. It can also include 'x' amount of dogs upto a limit in the selected time slot, so friends/dogs can run together.
Having used private parks, this option works well.
As stated not many would be prepared to 'pay'.
