Have your Say on the future of skate in the Shire
Skate parks create youth inclusive community spaces, support physical activity and promote skill development.
The Shire of Harvey has six skate parks in Australind, Binningup, Brunswick Junction, Harvey, Roelands and Yarloop.
We are currently developing a Sport and Recreation Strategy 2030 which will include a long term plan for these skate parks that meet the needs of each community.

There is currently a small skate park in Roelands which will be coming up for renewal. The results of this survey will be used to plan future upgrades or renewal of the existing facility.
Providing a public place enables community members of Roelands to thrive in a positive environment. A public space can be a catalyst for healthy community life in which young and old socialise, have fun, develop new skills, make new friends, hang out and much more.
