Shire of Harvey Community Precincts
Consultation has concluded
Provision of Civic and Community Facilities to Service the needs of a Growing Population within the Shire
With your support, the Shire of Harvey is looking to deliver future community precincts that will help establish even more local services, facilities and events within the region. We’d like to hear your thoughts and opinions on our planned developments, to make the Shire of Harvey an even better place to live, work and grow.
The development of the community precincts will be staged. Design and documentation will commence by the end of this year. Construction of the first phase of the precincts is planned to start in late 2022.
The public consultation period has now closed
We would like to thank everyone who has provided feedback to the Shire of Harvey Community Precincts. We have received a good number of positive and constructive feedback. All community feedback will be assessed to ensure the precincts are designed to cater for the Shire’s current and future needs. A proposal will be presented to Council for consideration on 28 September.
Australind Community Precinct
The Shire has identified the need to develop a community precinct in the Australind area. The current library facilities and administration centre are undersized relative to the growing population in the Shire and there is a need for community facilities to be centrally located.
We’re seeking your feedback on a preferred location and required community facilities for concept designs to commence.
